The forestry section joins 20 new exhibitors already lined up to make their debuts on Wednesday, 5th February 2025, joining around 200 stands featuring every major agricultural machine dealership across the region.
The forestry exhibitors are set to cover a wide range of businesses, including the Forestry Commission which will be offering advice on incentives for woodland creation and the available existing grant schemes.
The exhibitors will also showcase expertise in ground care and arboriculture along with timber auctions and forestry services, including wood chipping, mulching, clearance, management, felling, replanting works, harvesting, clear-fell sites and thinning.
The forestry machinery on display will feature a Valtra T Series forestry tractor with a mounted Kesla crane and log grab, exhibited by BRM Ltd.
Other exhibits include timber trailers, stump grinders, woodchippers, firewood processors, log splitters, and saws showcased by exhibitors, including Ufkes Greentec UK, Ryedale Forestry, Form & Forestry Ltd, Timber Auctions, GGM Group, and T&S Vicary.
Richard Tasker, YAMS founder and organiser, said: “Despite the challenges of weather conditions and the Autumn Budget, the agriculture industry remains vibrant, and YAMS reflects this positivity.
“We are delighted to introduce a forestry section to YAMS showcasing a diverse range of exhibitors, from small businesses and groundcare specialists to logging enterprises, timber auctions and the Forestry Commission.
“This year has been incredibly difficult for the farming sector, and despite all the difficulties, I am delighted to see our exhibitors and supporters demonstrating such resilience and determination for the future of our industry.
